You can submit your audio gear to HTF Audio by filling out our online form on our website. Once we receive your submission, we will review your inquiry and we will either accept your offer, negotiate a deal, or we might decline your inquiry altogether if it happens to be something that we’re not interested in. If you accept the offer, we will either arrange for a local pickup or you can drop off the item(s) at our business location in Fairfield, CA.

We are interested in purchasing both working and untested/non-working audio gear (if it’s profitable). However, we pay more for working audio gear rather than untested/non-working items. If there’s still value in a non-working item, we might be interested in buying it.
We also recycle non-working audio gear (only) free of charge since we partnered with an e-waste recycling company. We believe that for recycling items that used to be worth something (such as vintage receivers and amps) it would be best if you recycle to us since we will try to do everything in our power to keep it out of landfills and alive versus a recycling business where your items will usually go straight to the shredders. Please take a look at the list of items we accept and do not accept before inquiring about e-waste drop off.

Of course you could, but in doing so means you might have to deal with waiting a long time for the right buyer to come along, buyers who flake/scammers, and potentially putting your life in danger when you meet up with strangers on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist. Same goes for eBay and Reverb, there are often many scams and return cases due to damage in transit or scammers trying to get refunds through fraudulent claims. These are only a few of the things you may have to deal with when you decide to sell your gear yourself. By choosing us you are choosing the fast, convenient, easy, and safe way to sell your gear.

Typically, if you choose to have your items picked up, we will meet you at your home or wherever the item is located.

There are no limits to the number of items you can submit. The more the merrier. :)

We pay for your items in your preferred method of payment from our list below.
We offer Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or PayPal.

Qualification depends on various factors including distance, profit, scheduling, and the amount of items we are purchasing.
We aim to pick up all items that we agree to purchase within a weeks time frame with the soonest being same day for qualifying purchases.

Sorry, but we cannot provide a quote over the phone since we cannot physically see the item. Please submit a photo and description of the item for us to review instead. We'll usually get back to you with a quote by the end of the business day. If you have a quick question or a few questions you’re more than welcome to give us a call during business hours.

At the moment we are only accepting pick up and drop off if you are local to us but we are working on having shipping to us as an option soon.
